Omoda Auto tasked FullCircle with delivering a unique and unforgettable car launch that would merge the worlds of high fashion and automotive design.
The objective was to appeal to Gen Z by showcasing Omoda's pillars of futurism, beauty, and affordability. The challenge was to create a visually captivating multi-model fashion show, integrated with the cars themselves, while maintaining the energy of the event through a striking musical performance. The combination of meticulous planning, creative design, and adaptability led to an event that not only met but exceeded the client’s expectations, cementing Omoda’s brand presence in the automotive market with a bold and unforgettable launch. Our in-house stylist crafted unique looks for each model, featuring silver tones, mirrors, reflective materials, and haute couture inspired by 22nd-century aesthetics. Complemented by bespoke makeup and hair design, the models embodied the fusion of fashion and futurism, aligning perfectly with Omoda’s brand vision.
Working to a tight deadline, we deployed a lead producer to work directly with the client in their offices. This ensured smoother communication, quicker decision-making, and a more seamless execution. FullCircle designed an immersive, futuristic catwalk that put the Omoda cars at center stage, blending seamlessly with the high-fashion elements. The stage design required precision, as we had to balance the complexities of displaying cars in a traditional fashion show environment. In tandem with the visual spectacle, our music team curated a show track that resonated with Omoda’s core themes of energy, innovation, and youth culture. This soundtrack kept guests engaged and supported the narrative of the brand throughout the event. To close the show, we featured the laser violin duo, Lumina, who delivered a mesmerising performance with bespoke laser-colored strings. This high-energy act maintained the show’s momentum and ensured a dramatic finale, leaving the audience in awe. Midway through the project, we encountered a significant challenge—securing a host for the event. Initially, Mat Watson from Carwow was confirmed, but a scheduling conflict emerged just one week before the live date. FullCircle swiftly pivoted and, after exploring various options, secured motorsport presenter and Formula 1 specialist Alexandra Legouix. Her presence was a revelation, providing a fresh, dynamic voice in an industry often dominated by male figures.
The launch event was a resounding success, blending the worlds of fashion, music, and automotive innovation into one cohesive, high-energy experience. Room 2 continued the energy post-show with a minimalistic, chilled DJ set by Phoebe, carrying guests through the night. The combination of meticulous planning, creative design, and adaptability led to an event that not only met but exceeded the client’s expectations, cementing Omoda’s brand presence in the automotive market with a bold and unforgettable launch.
